We're thrilled to join forces again with Dive Centre Bondi and PADI AWARE for a Dive Against Debris Initiative here in Sydney! We're uniting our Freediving and Scuba communities to clean up one of our local treasures and frequent dive spots in the Eastern Suburbs.
Our location for this session is still to be determined, register and stay tuned!
Clean Up Day Details
You can join us above or under the water at 9:30am at our dive site for a briefing. The clean up lasts approximately an hour, after which we spend some time sorting through the debris and collecting data for Project AWARE.
To finish the day Dive Centre Bondi have invited us to their Dive Against Debris BBQ at the dive centre as a thank you!

Ocean Film Festival: Freediver Pre-Show Social 2025
The Ocean Film Festival is something we look forward to every year, and it's always been a place for friendly freedive faces to reconnect and discover what we all look like when we're dry.
Join us this year for a few bevvies at the Royal Randwick before we head over to the Ocean Film Festival showing at the Randwick Ritz. It's a great way to meet other freedivers, especially if you're turning up to the film festival alone.
This is a relaxed affair - turn up when you want, bring who you want. You WILL need a ticket for the Ocean Film Festival Screening (linked below), but no ticket or RSVP required just to join us for a few drinks at the pub before the event kicks off.

Ocean Lovers Festival: Bondi
Ocean Lovers Festival is an annual celebration of Ideas, Art+Music and Actions, showcasing some of the latest innovations, science, state-of-the-art technology and cool ideas for helping the ocean.
We are so happy to be collaborating with Ocean Lovers Festival again in 2025! We will have a stall over the weekend in Bondi, and a small Workshop/Talk (stay tuned … details to come!). Come and say hello to our Team, meet some of the community, and chat to us all things freediving!

This 90min dry workshop is an innovative way to stay freedive-fit. Learn from apnea-yoga aficionado Tessa Ucchino how to safely stretch your lungs + massage your accessory breathing muscles. Then, enjoy a static breath hold session led by none-other-than Kate Borysyuk, our Australian STA national record holder!
You'll leave the studio with refreshed lungs + new items in your freediving tool-box.

Pals, Paint & Pottery: Ocean Themed Art with Hannah Renshaw
Pals, Paint, and Pottery: An Ocean-Inspired Creative Night
We are so excited to announce this collaboration with Han.
Han is an incredible local artist specialising in ocean themed paintings and porcelain artwork. Han learned to freedive with us back in 2021 and has been an active member of the Sydney freediving community ever since.
Growing up in the UK, Hannah’s early love of the ocean was explored through art. She would read books about ocean animals and paint her underwater wishlist..
After moving to Australia and discovering freediving Han’s world opened up. This is an experience that Han and Bella (Immersia’s founder) bonded over. Han’s art is now a journal of all the incredible moments and animals she’s experience underwater.
We know how transformative freediving or snorkelling can be for many people. It’s hard to put into words. And, with that in mind, we are stoked to offer this creative evening to our freediving community. In this 2-hour pottery painting masterclass, each you will receive your very own translucent porcelain tea-light; to paint and decorate as you wish. Come along and write the story of your most beautiful underwater moments through your own artwork! Han will be on hand to inspire you and provide guidance, materials and reference images.

Hands-on Creativity: Design your porcelain tea-light with ocean-themed inspiration and guidance from Han. Way better than a canvas you’ll never hang on your wall!
Artistic Support: Use provided reference images from the underwater world to fuel your creativity.
A Cozy Venue: Relax in the intimate and inspiring atmosphere of The Living Room, Bustle Studios in Surry Hills.
New ocean loving friends: Come alone or with your buddies. Be prepared to get to know new faces!

We're kicking off 2025 right with a breath of fresh air and a splash of ocean magic at Clovelly Beach!
This month we're collaborating with Conscious Community for a revitalising Breathe and Fun Dive Morning special. Created with the intention of getting you and your friend(s) together for some meditation, morning laughs and a bit of adventure to kick off your Sunday.
What’s in Store:
✨ Breathe Session: Calm your mind and relax your body with guided breathing exercises guided by Conscious Community Founder Andre.
🤿 Fun Social Dive: Explore Clovelly’s vibrant underwater world with a group of like-minded ocean lovers.
📸 Photography by Eddy: Let Eddy (@eddyprice) work his magic behind the lens, capturing candid moments above and below water.

Clean Up Day Details
Camp Cove is one of Sydney’s most popular beaches, not only for divers but for tourists and locals as well. Located on the South Headland it boasts amazing harbour views with a number of stunning rocky reefs to explore.
You can join us above or under the water at 9:30am at Camp Cove for a briefing. The clean up lasts approximately an hour, after which we spend some time sorting through the debris and collecting data for Project AWARE.
