Immersia Freediving is a fast growing, values-led Ocean Confidence and Freediving School. In just over 3 years we’ve grown from zero into one of Australia’s largest, safest and most impactful freediving operations. Now we’re on the lookout for an energised, ambitious manager to help us get to the next level.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As our Customer Operations Manager, we’ll need you to streamline our operations and level-up the customer experience. This role is a mix of hands-on logistics management and big-picture strategy, perfect for getting deep into the nitty gritty of growing a company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operations Management - Ensure our courses and retreats run smoothly, constantly seeking efficiency improvements and tech/automation opportunities.

• Relationship Management - Maintain strong relationships with partners and be a trusted voice in our community.

• Customer Experience - Continuously look to improve the operation from sign-up to post-experience, by using feedback, systems data and industry insight.

• Team Leadership:- Mentor our offshore ops assistant and support our team of instructors.

WORK ARRANGEMENTS AND TRAVEL:

• 80% remote with a Sydney base required.

• Flexible work hours.

• Some domestic and potential international travel.

• Must have the right to work in Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a freediving instructor you are responsible the overall safety and experience of our freediving guests.

• Teaching Freediving Courses

• Assisting and leading freediving coaching in open water and pool

• Ensuring that freediving equipment is collected, returned in good condition and maintained properly

• Assisting on freediving trips and retreats

WHO ARE YOU

• Qualified Freediving Instructor (PADI or Molchanov Preferred; will accept SSI / RAID / AIDA / Apnea Academy and more)

• Valid Public Liability Insurance of minimum $10m

• Valid First Aid License

• You have experience assisting on freediving courses, or past experience in facilitation or teaching

• You’re reliable, safe, friendly and you act with integrity
